About the PURE Oil Jobbers Cooperative
Formed in 1993, the PURE Oil Jobbers Cooperative has grown to over 340 members in 10 states. Membership provides buying power, a secure supply of petroleum products, branding options, marketing services, and more.
PURE Oil has been a cooperative for more than 20 years. Moreover, it has been a leading independent American petroleum brand for more than 100 years. The foundation of PURE Oil began with the Ohio Cities Gas Company, which was founded in 1914.
The PURE Oil Jobbers Cooperative, Inc. has the exclusive right to use the “PURE” brand name and “Firebird” trademark among its membership in connection with the marketing of PURE petroleum products at retail sites.
The PURE Co-op was formed under Chapter 54, Subchapter 4, of the laws of North Carolina to operate as a Cooperative Association for the purpose of marketing petroleum and petroleum-related products to its members.
