New slate of officers ready to lead PURE Co-op in 2016

PURE also welcomes three new board members this year

The 2016 slate of officers has been set for the PURE Oil Jobbers Cooperative, as the leadership of the organization prepares for their first meeting in their new roles at the Annual Stakeholders’ Meeting March 3-4 in Myrtle Beach.

Lynn Keffer, who is President of Crossroads Fuels Services in Chesapeake, Virginia, will take over as President of the PURE Co-op, accompanied by Co-op Treasurer Johnny Robertson of John’s Fuel Service in Red Springs, North Carolina, and Co-op Secretary Stephanie Hinton of Jim Hinton Oil Company in Valdosta, Georgia. Dennis Combs of Combs Oil Company in Naples, Florida is the Co-op Past President.

Last year, the Co-op also welcomed new members Matt Bogue and Mark Gish to the Board. Bogue is Director of Operations for Dutch Oil Company in Columbus, Mississippi, who represents PURE members in District 1, while Gish hails from Gish Oil Company in Valdosta, Georgia, representing PURE members in District 3.

This year, three additional Board Members will be first timers in their respective leadership positions. Steve Perry of Perry Brothers Oil Company in Americus, Georgia, joins the PURE Board as a first-timer, representing members in District 3. Rex Jones of Cougar Oil Company in Selma, Alabama also is new to the PURE Co-op Board, representing members in District 5. Finally, Kevin Matthew of Buffalo Services, Inc. in McComb, Mississippi joins the Co-op Board this year, representing members in District 1.

The 22nd annual Stockholders’ Meeting and First Quarter 2016 Board Meeting will be held March 3-4, at the Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach Resort at Kingston Plantation.
