A delegation from the PURE Oil Jobbers Cooperative, including staff and board members, recently took additional steps toward marketing the PURE brand to potential jobbers outside of the original 10-state Southeastern region, where the organization was founded 17 years ago.

The PURE Co-op was a featured vendor at the annual M-PACT trade show in Indianapolis this spring, hosting a display booth equipped with materials and information to introduce the PURE brand and Co-op benefits to oil jobbers in this region.

M-PACT consists of a four-state group of petroleum marketing and convenience store associations from Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Ohio. The M-PACT states unite each year to regionalize their trade show and educational workshops, to better serve members in the industry and to build upon an already successful event for attendees and exhibitors such as PURE.

“PURE has a history in the Midwest that dates back several decades to a time when the brand was prominent in this part of the country, well before our Co-op purchased the rights to market PURE in all 50 states,” says Frank Dotson, general manager of the PURE Oil Jobbers Cooperative. “It (M-PACT) seems like a natural starting part for our marketing efforts outside of the Southeast.”
